- Self-Management tools for calming the 'flight-or-flee' response; students recognize when confusion creates a stress response that interferes with focus and clarity.
- Self-Management tools to reduce anxiety and improve focus.
- Instruction in skills to self-regulate energy according to particular situations
- Mastery of key concepts--to help clear up frustration and confusion.
- "Brain Training" Exercises- for becoming more 'in control' of choices and behavior.
- Word-to-Picture Exercises that utilize the client's natural picture-thinking strength to improve comprehension
- Follow-up Action Plan, drafted with the client, to create a strategy for ongoing improvement
- Training for a support person to assist in follow-up
Kit of tools used during the program, which may include: Program manual, dictionary, grammar book, modeling clay, KooshTM Balls, listening CD's, etc.
